In the 1970’s, the ACS (American Chemical Society) put out quite a number of
bumper stickers which were quite popular. As I mentioned in my last blog, “Honk
if you passed P-Chem” was one of them. I went through a pile of stuff which I
have collected over the years and, believe it or not, I still have one! I
scanned it into my computer and here it is so that you can see what I am talking
about:
Certainly, you had to be one of the “in” guys or gals to appreciate this kind
of humor!
Other bumper stickers of the time included:
“Chemists have Solutions”
“Heisenberg may have slept here”
“Love a chemist, they react better!”
I have not seen any bumper stickers better than these!
