Janice's Grandmother, whom everyone called Baba, was 93 years old in the summer of 1979. She was still very healthy and energetic. She never considered the Cape house to be a civilized place to visit. At least, that is what I was told was her thinking, as I did not talk with her personally and directly about the Cape house. We never really had any discussion of any kind on any subject - other than about what food I liked. (Since she was the one who usually cooked, that was an important question for her to ask!) Certainly we could not just go to the Cape without stopping in Winchester to see her when we visited the Boston area. She was very happy to see Margaret and Steven. Her smile was very clear and genuine in these pictures! Janice was showing her the children's paintings from Cape Cod.
